Health and Safety Policy
We will endeavour to protect the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, contractors, visitors and members of the public.
- Innovia Films recognises, understands and accepts its moral and legal obligations for health and safety.
- We consider the Health and Safety of our employees to be our Number one priority.
- Innovia Films is committed to continual improvements in safety performance.
- Whilst Innovia recognises it’s responsibilities for safety, it also recognises that safety is a joint responsibility and that all employees are responsible for, not only their own safety, but the safety of their colleagues as well.
- Hazard identification, risk assessments and adoption of adequate and appropriate control measures are central to our management of safety.
- Written procedures and instructions form the basis of our safe working practices.
- Training is given to all employees to impart an adequate understanding of the company rules, operating procedures / instructions and codes of practice and to ensure that the required levels of competence are achieved.
- Visitors and contractors are required to comply with specific regulations and procedures to ensure their safety whilst on site.
The effectiveness of the overall policy is regularly reviewed and steps are taken to ensure that any necessary corrective actions are put in place.
