Investing in our people
In addition, our commitment to staff training and development has led to strong partnerships with organisations that award recognised qualifications such as the CChem (Chartered Chemist) from the Royal Society of Chemistry; Certificate or Diploma in Packaging from The Packaging Society; and Modern Apprenticeships from the University of Cumbria.
Working with the community
Our strong links with the community include support for CREST, Britain’s largest national award scheme for young people in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
Innovia Films has run CREST Award projects with the local Nelson Thomlinson Secondary School for over 20 years, and has developed strong links with this and other local schools. Many of the participants have gone on to work for us.
