First Metallised Biodegradable Film

For biodegrable and compostable applications requiring a high level of gas and moisture barrier, Innovia Films have developed NatureFlex™ NM.

This is the first metallised biodegradable and compostable film on the market produced using sustainable raw materials.  All our NatureFlex™ films are certified under the European (EN 13432) and US (ASTM D6400) biodegradable and composting standards, including NM.  The NM grade has a high lustre metallised layer for enhanced product presentation.  At the same time the metallisation offers an excellent moisture barrier for excellent shelf life of hygroscopic products and a very high oxygen barrier.  The dead-fold and anti-static properties ensure unparalleled performance on the full range of twistwrap machinery.
