Innovia Films Appoints New President

Joe Piccione, 44, has been appointed President, of Innovia Films Inc., Americas.

Previously President of Filtrona Extrusion in Atlanta, Mr Piccione has worked in the packaging and plastics sectors for 20 years. He began his career in packaging with Mobil and also served as Vice President and General Manager of Atlantis Plastic Films for nine years.

Innovia Films is a leading global producer of specialty Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) and Cellulose films with production sites in the Tecumseh, Kansas, the UK, Belgium and Australia.

Mr Piccione says: “Innovia Films has an exciting and truly unique product range. The company has unmatched capabilities in BOPP and Cellulose film production.  We are particularly optimistic in the impact of the tremendous interest being shown in the sustainability of Cellulose film”.
