NatureFlex™ Strengthens Eco-Friendly Packs

Italian packaging converter, V.E.D. Carta has developed a new biodegradable cardboard-based tray ideally suited for fruit, vegetables, fresh pasta, cheese and pastries.The trays are made from corrugated board, lined inside with NatureFlex film from Innovia Films.
The addition of the NatureFlex™ film gives the trays a glossy appearance as well as greatly increasing their resistance to moisture, fats, salts and oils; improving the good performance and the quality appearance of the packed products throughout the distribution chain.
NatureFlex™ NE is certified compostable to EN13432 by both the DinCerto and OK-Compost schemes. It is made from wood pulp from managed plantations.
