Today’s competitive market place demands packaging films that perform on a wide variety of packaging machines at the highest possible speeds. As overall production costs are scrutinised, achieving high efficiencies is becoming increasingly vital.  So the films also need to be forgiving enough to be able to cope with product line speed variations, while achieving strong seals to provide optimum product shelf life.

Our portfolio of BOPP Propafilm™ films includes high speed films for flow-wrap and overwrap, with proven speeds of >100m/min or 2000ppm.

They include films that seal at a wide range of temperatures for large operating windows and increased packaging flexibility.  They have the ability to maintain the seals whilst still hot (hot tack performance) achieving strong tamper evident seals every time.  This ensures optimum wrapping efficiencies.

All our BOPP films provide an excellent barrier to moisture, ideal for dry products.  The range also includes films that offer excellent gas barrier, for gas flushing applications or for products which suffer from oxygen deterioration.

Differential slip aids high speed performance: a high coefficient of friction in the inside of the packs to minimise pack movement, a low coefficient of friction on the outside of the packs to facilitate movement against machinery parts.
