The bakery sector represents a particular challenge for the choice of film:
Certain bakery products will benefit from a semi-permeable wrap, maximising shelf-life by avoiding mould growth associated with maintaining too high a moisture level inside the pack. Other products will remain fresher by maintaining a higher moisture level inside the pack. NatureFlex™ NVS will provide a semi permeable barrier to moisture, whilst NE30 will provide a reduced level of permeability.

NatureFlex™ NK provides an enhanced barrier targeted for use with moisture sensitive products.

  • NatureFlex™ NE films are designed to offer increased moisture barrier for the packing of more hygroscopic foods but the materials are also suitable for microwave and conventional oven 'reheat' applications up to 200º C for 30 minutes.
