NatureFlex™ films are suitable for the packaging of a variety of bakery products including cakes and doughnuts. Their wide heatseal range, freedom from static and excellent optical properties allow their easy use on a variety of different machines, especially flow-wrap and overwrap formats.

The bakery sector represents a particular challenge for the choice of film:
Certain bakery products will benefit from a semi-permeable wrap, maximising shelf-life by avoiding mould growth associated with maintaining too high a moisture level inside the pack. Other products will remain fresher by maintaining a higher moisture level inside the pack. NatureFlex™ NVS will provide a semi permeable barrier to moisture, whilst NE30 will provide a reduced level of permeability.

NatureFlex™ NK provides an enhanced barrier targeted for use with moisture sensitive products.
