Future Developments
The first NatureFlex™ films (NP and NE families) were launched in January 2003.2006 saw the launch of 2 new grades NVS (semi-permeable flow-wrap film for chilled food applications) and NM (metallised film aimed primarily at twistwrapping applications.) In 2007 NVL and NVLW (clear and white films for label applications) were launched.
Innovia Films is committed to maximise the development potential of its NatureFlex range, combining the fruits of ongoing development work of its raw-material suppliers with Innovia’s own R&D and production know-how.
Key development priorities for the short term include the development of an enhanced barrier version to complement our current NatureFlex™ NVS (moisture-permeable) film and lidding-films designed to provide a peal-seal to a wide range of biodegradable and conventional rigid packaging solutions.
