As competition for shelf appeal increases the need for attractive, eye catching labelling has never been more critical.The recent favoured market appearance is the move to clear labels that exhibit the 'no-label look' on glass and high clarity plastic bottles. Until recently this 'no-label look' has been achieved by the use of pressure sensitive polypropylene labels.
However, a limiting factor for this type of label is the viability to wash the labels off in standard industrial bottle washers. This prevents pressure sensitive polypropylene being used for returnable bottles. Using NatureFlex™ material in pressure sensitive constructions maintains the excellent clarity for 'no-label look' labelling but also offers a wash off label for returnable bottles when used in conjunction with a caustic removable adhesive.
