Digital

Digital printing, computer driven “file-to-label technology”, allows the economic production of variable, personalised or security labels in small volumes. By reducing costly and time-consuming pre-print activities, cost-effective faster turnarounds can be realised.

The market is largely divided into liquid toner, dry toner and inkjet technologies.  Innovia Films can offer products to suit all of these

Liquid toner industrial printing requires specialist dedicated top coated films for optimum performance and quality, dry toner and UV inkjet systems can work, with care, with standard acrylic coated films.

Innovia Films have developed a range of HP Indigo® substrates to support short run digital printing using HP’s WS2000, 4050, 4500 and 6000 presses.  Working closely with the HP Indigo® Industrial Media Group, Innovia Films can offer certified films, fully approved by HP for use on these presses.

Close collaboration with Xeikon also shows good print performance of Innovia Films acrylic coated BOPP label facestocks as well as NatureFlex label facestocks.

Extensive testing across a number of UV inkjet ink types and print systems shows excellent compatibility with acrylic coated BOPP facestock films and NatureFlex facestock films.
