Release Liner

Filmic materials as release liners offer potential benefits over paper based liners, for example,  clear-on-clear labelstocks, enhanced labelstock performance in harsh environments and more labels on a roll.

Clear-on clear-labelstocks enable the production of the “no label-look” which continues to be a fast growing market, offering enhanced shelf appeal.  Filmic liners, having very flat surfaces, enable improved adhesive laydown and offer that “invisible” label capability.  For harsh environments where high humidity can cause paper liners to fail, filmic products again offer an advantage.  Filmic materials typically have a higher yield and are generally thinner than their paper equivalents, this allows the label converter to wind longer reels with more labels offering longer run times between splices and roll changes.
