A cast polypropylene (CPP) film with a low seal initiation temperature (SIT), specifically developed as a sealant web for monomaterial laminates used on high-speed packaging lines.
With the growing need for pack recyclability “mono-material” laminate constructions are of growing importance. Propacast™ KF offers a low seal initiation temperature and excellent hermetic seals.
When used in conjunction with a BOPP face web recyclable all PP structures can be achieved. These laminate constructions are increasingly being used to replace PET/PE which are not recyclable.
